Committed To Our Community

Our Mission

Chris is committed to representing the South as the Local Member and is passionate about key issues that impact our community

Health

Labor will always stand up for a strong and effective public health system in South Australia. I will work hard to hold the Government to account for their unfair cuts to health including closing health clinics, sending pathology services interstate and closing vital beds.

Education

There are a range of excellent local schools in our community that give our kids access to a first-class education and the hands of well trained and passionate educators. The recent investment in STEM and other classroom facilities in our schools are preparing kids for the jobs of the future.

Transport

As the southern suburbs have expanded in recent years, access to quality public transport has become more and more important. I will work hard to prevent cuts to the existing bus services and the privatisation of our train and tram services to ensure that the service offered to our community meets the growing demand.

Jobs

I am committed to bringing jobs to the southern suburbs through representing our community. Projects begun by the Labor Government like the Main South Road duplication will employ locals and improve job growth in the area
