School Crossings - Keeping Our Kids Safe

Ensuring the safety of our children on their way to and from school is a top priority for the Malinauskas Labor Government. That’s why we are proud to announce the successful completions of both the $78,000 South Port Primary School Crossing, and the $57,000 All Saints Catholic Primary School Crossing upgrade. Both proudly funded by commitments made during the 2022 election campaign.

The $135,000 in funding has enabled significant improvements to the school crossing infrastructure, enhancing safety measures for our children. These enhancements include upgraded signage, improved visibility features, and pedestrian safety upgrades to ensure a secure crossing experience for students and families.

As we continue to invest in our local communities, the School Crossing upgrades stand as a testament to our dedication to building a safer, more accessible South Australia for all. I look forward to seeing the positive impact of these improvements on the daily lives of students, parents, and the wider community.

This project not only fulfills an important election commitment but also underscores the Governments commitment to prioritizing the safety and well-being of our youngest community members. By investing in projects like School Crossing upgrades, we are creating safer environments that support active kids and promote healthy lifestyles among our youth.
